The Musical Mailman announces 2022-2023 Karla Bartholomy Music Scholarship I am pleased to announce the first annual Karla Bartholomy Memorial Music Scholarship. As part of my studio's mission, I offer a full year of paid tuition to at least one student. I established this scholarship as a way to continue the legacy of Karla Bartholomy, my first cello teacher, who allowed my family to barter in lieu of payment for lessons, providing me an opportunity that was simply out of reach for my family. The scholarship is open to all Maui County youth ages 18 and below, current and former students of mine are also encouraged to apply.
